HUIYA Visits Jinan Equipment Manufacturer to Rebuild the CISCA 2007 and EN 12825 Test Software for Raised Access Floors

On September 3, 2026, the General Manager of Changzhou HUIYA Decoration Material Co., Ltd. (HUIYA) led a team to Jinan, Shandong Province, to meet on site with a professional testing equipment manufacturer. The purpose of the trip was to rebuild the control software of a raised access floor (anti static floor / access floor) compression testing machine, so that the CISCA 2007 (US standard) and EN 12825:2001 (European standard) methods that the HUIYA quality team had recently studied at the SGS third party laboratory could be fully embedded into HUIYA’s own in house inspection workflow.

1. From Learning at SGS to Landing the Methods in HUIYA’s Own Floor Laboratory

During the earlier visit to SGS Changzhou, the HUIYA quality team systematically studied the CISCA 2007 Concentrated Load Test and the EN 12825 graded load procedure, covering the loading head specification (25 mm × 25 mm square indenter), the four characteristic loading positions (Panel Center A / B, 1/4 Point C, Corner Point D at 70 mm × 70 mm from the corner), the graded load sequence (1980 N / 3560 N / 4450 N up to 22241 N), the reading nodes for deflection and permanent set, and the synchronous recording method for environmental parameters (temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure).

After the study, HUIYA immediately launched an internal project titled “Localization of the Third Party Testing Model”. To truly replicate the workflow of an external authoritative laboratory inside HUIYA’s own facility, the hardware is only part of the picture. The more critical question is whether the control software of the compression testing machine can run according to the loading curves, holding times, sampling frequencies and judgement thresholds required by CISCA 2007 and EN 12825. Face to face collaboration with the equipment manufacturer’s software engineers therefore became the central task of the project.

2. On Site Work in Jinan: Rebuilding the Software of the Raised Floor Compression Tester

After arriving at Jinan West Railway Station by high speed train on September 3, the HUIYA team went directly to the manufacturer’s production base. The core equipment involved in the discussion was the WD-P6105 (100 kN) Anti Static Raised Access Floor Compression Testing Machine, whose main configuration includes:

  • Lenovo industrial control PC and HP A4 color inkjet printer
  • Donly AC servo drive and servo motor
  • One set of Taiwan ABBA high precision ball screw
  • One set of 1350 mm × 1350 mm dedicated compression test platform
  • Chinese and English test software, compliant with GB/T 36340-2018 General Specification for Anti Static Access Floor

On this basis, the HUIYA team and the manufacturer’s software engineers worked through the following directions:

🔷1. Modular Loading Sequences: The five duty grades of CISCA 2007 (Light Duty, Standard, Heavy Duty, Extra Heavy Duty, Ultra Heavy Duty, corresponding to 1980 N / 3560 N / 4450 N up to 22241 N), together with EN 12825 Class 1 to Class 6 graded loads, are being built into preset templates in the software. Operators can simply select the target standard and class, and the sequence runs automatically.

🔷2. Parameterized Loading Path and Holding Time: Loading rate, holding time, unloading rate and post unload rest time are being changed from fixed values to standard driven configurable parameters, so that a single machine can switch quickly between different standards.

🔷3. Separate Recording of Deflection and Permanent Set: Following the SGS practice, the working deflection during loading and the permanent set after unloading are recorded and displayed in separate columns, and reported independently, which makes judgement against limits such as the EN 12825 2.5 mm deflection benchmark straightforward.

🔷4. Synchronous Environmental Data Interface: A data interface for temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure recorders (such as Testo 622 class devices) is being reserved, so that environmental parameters can be written into every raw record, ensuring comparability and reproducibility of the results.

🔷5. Bilingual Report Templates: Building on the existing Chinese and English test software, the CISCA 2007 and EN 12825 report templates are being further refined, with explicit fields for the loading position (Point A / B / C / D), graded loads, deflection, permanent set and judgement result.

3. Positive Response from the Equipment Manufacturer

During the on site discussion, the equipment manufacturer expressed strong agreement with HUIYA’s software rebuild plan and clearly committed to full cooperation and step by step improvement of the software process. The two sides agreed on the following:

  • ✅HUIYA’s Quality Department will provide the CISCA 2007 and EN 12825 method notes, load parameter tables and report field lists.
  • ✅The manufacturer’s software team is responsible for code level implementation and internal testing.
  • ✅Both sides will jointly complete the software upgrade, on site commissioning and method comparison tests on the first machine at HUIYA’s Changzhou laboratory.
  • ✅Once the work is stable, a document titled Instruction Manual for CISCA 2007 / EN 12825 Test Software on Raised Access Floor Compression Testing Machine will be issued and archived as an SOP annex within HUIYA.

For HUIYA, this means that every raised access floor panel leaving the factory can be re inspected in house using a method aligned with SGS, so that the internal data is methodologically consistent with third party data, turning the “near third party view” full check into a routine practice.

4. Further Cooperation: Qiode Import and Export Helps Promote the Professional Test Equipment

On the technical side, an additional cooperation intention was proposed by the equipment manufacturer. Once this software integration is completed successfully, they hope that HUIYA’s affiliated trading arm, Qiode (Changzhou) Import and Export Trade Co., Ltd., will help promote this CISCA 2007 and EN 12825 optimized testing equipment to peers, design institutes and third party laboratories, both in China and abroad, within the specialized field of raised access flooring.

This is a naturally formed further way opportunity:

  • For the equipment manufacturer: Through HUIYA’s long term customer network in the raised floor industry and Qiaode’s overseas channel experience, the specialized compression tester can reach more peers, design institutes and third party laboratories faster.
  • For HUIYA and Qiode: In addition to the existing decorative material business, the group extends further toward an integrated service of “industry standards plus testing capability plus professional equipment”, providing customers with value added solutions that go beyond the product itself.
  • For the industry: Wider adoption of test equipment optimized to mainstream international standards helps drive the Chinese raised access floor sector toward a more regulated and more traceable quality data culture.

5. HUIYA Delivers Value Added Flooring Solutions Anchored in Quality Control

From the earlier visit to SGS to this software rebuild trip in Jinan, HUIYA has completed a full chain from “external method learning” to “internal method consolidation” within one month. HUIYA firmly believes:

A raised access floor is not an ordinary decorative material, but the “second ground” that carries precision equipment and mission critical business. Load bearing capacity, deflection, permanent set, anti static performance, dimensional stability and edge strength. Behind every parameter is the operational safety of the customer’s data hall or office space.

For this reason, HUIYA has long carried out multi standard sampling inspection before shipment against GB/T 36340-2018 (China), CISCA 2007 (USA), BS EN 12825:2001 (Europe), KS F 4760 (Korea) and JIS A 1450:2005 (Japan). This software rebuild extends that commitment from “the reported result” to “the test method itself”, as a systemic upgrade of HUIYA’s quality control.

HUIYA will continue to use international standards as its methodological baseline and stable quality data as a shared language, working together with equipment makers, third party laboratories, design institutes, main contractors and every customer, to make a “traceable, comparable and reproducible” quality control practice part of what HUIYA delivers.
